This season, ARCHER has been able to acquire the sponsorship of four companies and one generous family. Not all of our donations have been monetary, we have been allowed to use an airplane hangar for our meeting space and were given building supplies. Without our sponsors, team ARCHER would not have been possible.

"When ARCHER Robotics asked me if they could use our hangar as a meeting place for their robotics team, the answer was a resounding “Yes!” ARCHER Robotics has competed in the BEST Robotics competitions for six years, and last year my son was lucky to be a new team member. BEST Robotics and Team ARCHER has done an amazing job creating a competition that resembles real life corporate and engineering projects. I’ve seen these kids learn to organize a company and delegate responsibility while working under formal job titles and job descriptions. They’ve been presented complex engineering challenges under similar time constraints and pressure to those they will find in their future engineering careers. The marketing and outreach aspects of the competition challenge them to clearly and boldly communicate an organized message. All this amazing experience doesn’t even begin to cover all the inter-personal educational experiences they face while preparing for competition. Besides all this educational benefit, the BEST Competition is exceedingly fun and inspiring. I see BEST providing a thorough opportunity for these young people to advance their interests and capabilities in the areas of engineering, math, robotics, marketing, and project management all while having a lot of fun."
